DULLES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
PUTTING THE LUST BACK IN WANDERLUST.
The world was coming out of a generational pandemic and people had stopped traveling, for business and for pleasure. We were tasked with getting bookings for leisure travel at Dulles International Airport, and its sister airport Reagan National, going again.
To accomplish this, we reminded would-be travelers of the experiences that can only happen when you leave home. We wanted to create a dreamscape - the way we remember great vacations as a collage of happy images - by tapping the talents of world-renowned artist Pietari Posti to create a series of beautiful illustrations that we used in out-of-home, social, and brought to live in video through motion graphics.
Domestic passenger volume increased 17.5% the year following the campaign, and 50.6 million passengers passed through Dulles and Reagan - a new record.
