ProMedica came to us with two issues - one narrow and one broad. The narrow issue was driving traffic to its expanding group of urgent care facilities. The broader issue was an educational one - making sure the public at large knew which conditions were best suited to be treated at an urgent care versus a doctor’s office or an ER.

While ProMedica doesn’t use a lot of humor in their advertising - as is the case with healthcare in general - there was a strategic reason we leveraged it for their urgent care campaign. Because ProMedica Urgent Care treats MINOR illnesses and injuries, humor helped drive home the message that it was the place to visit when you or a loved one had a condition that was of a less severe nature.

Not only did visits to ProMedica Urgent Care increase following the campaign, visites to ProMedica ERs decreased, meaning people got the message about treating the right condition at the right location.
